60 is an important number

“At 60, you’re old enough to know better but too old to care…”

Keith Richards

The pretty object that we see here is an Icosidodecahedron. It has 60 edges all equivalent. It is one of four Archimedean solids. It is considered important in geometry as it straddles the boundary between being a faceted shape or being a sphere. 60 has many accolades in mathematical world. It is a highly composite number, a unitary perfect number, an abundant number, a semi perfect number, and refractory number and a Harshad number. Some googling might be needed here. In real life 60 is paramount. 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour. Sixty is a number full of intrigue and promise. After the utter buggerardary of the last 3-4 years, I am just happy to have had the chance to get here. #surroundedbyloveandsupport #letsmakelemonade
