All to play for

“ Either side could win it, or it could be a draw…”

Dermott Brereton

Today is important. You have a chance to win this, the Thomas Seymour Hill Trophy. TS Hill was a Norwood man, but this cup honours his dedication as secretary of the SANFL from 1935-1963. The first SANFL Premiership was won in 1877 by South Adelaide. Ironically, they have now gone the longest ever period without winning. Port has won 36 times, Norwood 31 and my beloved Sturt is third with 15. Teams with an AFL side have never won. The original Adelaide Club actually won in 1886. It was based in Kensington and disbanded in 1878. I am extremely fortunate that Sturt has played in 12 Grand Finals during my lifetime, winning the cup 10 times. Wish them/me luck today. #goyoublueboys #letsmakelemonade
