A Greek sailor pen

“It is inappropriate to call the planet Earth when it is clearly an ocean…”

Arthur C Clarke

The Nautilus is a multi-chambered marine mollusc. The superfamily of Natilaceae emerged in the Triassic period, becoming one of the predominant life forms on Earth. Sadly the only remaining species is the Nautilus, and it has become critically endangered. Its name is derived from the Greek word for sailor. What we see here is also a Nautilus. It is a pen from the Nahvalur company, the Nautilus Maylandia Blue to be exact. The seafaring name comes from the cute port holes in the body of the pen, which function as ink windows. #theoldmanandthesea #letsmakelemonade
