Let’s take a moment to discuss one of my favourite film directors, Wes Anderson. His films may not be for everyone, but they have off beat comedy, surreal colour palettes, obscure locations, and a series of cameos from A list Hollywood stars. So out of nowhere, Wes Anderson has released a new short film. It is to celebrate the Montblanc 149 Meisterstuck’s 100th Anniversary. I highly recommend checking out the three minute video on Youtube. Even more of a surprise is that he announces that he has designed a new pen, to be made in collaboration with Montblanc. Anderson’s pen is a version of the lesser known Heritage Et Noir Baby. It is a model I have always coveted. This limited edition pen is in greens, yellow and red, a far cry from the traditional MB black. Sadly it will not be released until 2025. I can’t wait. #hopemelissareadsthisblog #letsmakelemonade
