So this weekend we are celebrating King Charles III’s birthday. His birthday is the same weekend as his mother’s! I don’t want to put a downer on your break, but it is all a hoax. Charles was born on the 14th November. 1948. June was chosen for Royal birthday holidays to make the most of UK weather. You have to feel for King Charles. His mother died recently, his two sons are feuding, his brother is a weirdo, and he and his favourite daughter in law are being treated for cancer. On top of this what we see here is his first official portrait as King, painted by artist Jonathan Yeo. At the unveiling, Charles visibly reared back as he saw the work. Critics have responded similarly. #justwhenyouleastexpectit #letsmakelemonade
