“A thief is a thief whether he steals a diamond or a cucumber…”
Indian Proverb
Koh-I-Noor is Persian for Mountain of Light. In modern parlance it usually refers to the most famous diamond in the world. The Koh-I Noor gem seems to have originated in India, but is currently part of the British Crown Jewels. It potentially falls into the category of Stuff the British stole, being variously described as a gift, treaty settlement, business deal, or loot. Fortunately, the Koh-I-Noor Versatil 5347 5.6mm clutch mechanical pencil is a much more straight forward affair. Koh-I-Noor is a Czech pencil manufacturer. This large bore lead holder is designed to use Gioconda compressed charcoal and graphite chalks. It actually has a particular use. Trace any drawing or image and the back of the paper can be easily covered with drawing grade graphite with this pencil. Re-trace the image and you have the perfect base drawing for a watercolour painting. #forthosewhopaintbutnotdraw #letsmakelemonade
