So let’s talk about tennis. Not professional tennis, old man’s tennis. It’s the same as you see in the Grand Slams, just more competitive. I have the privelege to play with the men of the MDTC Division 3 Doubles team. We play competition matches on Saturday mornings over summer, but hit together all through the year. Let me tell you a secret. The tennis we play isn’t really about courts, racquets and balls. It is actually about the coffee and smoothies we share afterwards. Here we discuss our lives, exchange gossip and put the world to rights. Advice, wisdom, experience and sympathy are all on offer if needed.
