Last year the 29th of November was a night of severe thunderstorms across South Australia. On that night a heavily pregnant Cocker Spaniel named Lulu was spooked into early labour. Lulu wanted to protect her litter from the weather carnage going on around her, so she found a way under the deck boards of her Fleurieu home. She wasn’t located until the next morning, several decking timbers had to removed to rescue her. During the night she had given birth to five puppies, tragically only one was still alive. That puppy has proven to be cuddly, intelligent, resilient and fun of energy. Happy first birthday Lady Penelope Walsh. #puppylove #letsmakelemonade
