Fountain pen people are obsessive nerdy people. We are always on a quest for the unobtainable -perfection. Often the Holy Grail item is an ink. Often even defining the goalposts for such an ink is difficult. The perfect colour? The perfect match with a fountain pen barrel? The perfect flow with your favourite nib or paper? Perfectly waterproof, no bleeding, no feathering? The perfect vibrancy, shade, hue, sheen and shimmer? Everyone thinks they could make their own perfect ink, if only they had the chance. Here is my chance, courtesy of a recent Christmas present. This is a Van Dieman’s FUSION ink set. The blue edition of course. Royal Blue pigment, Jet Blue pigment, Iridescent Green shimmer liquid, Sterling Silver shimmer liquid and crucially, two empty ink bottles. The world is my oyster. #thanksjena #letsmakelemonade
