“The dog lives for the day, the hour, the moment…”
Robert Falcon Scott
January 26th has become a controversial day in Australia. What should we call it? What should it commemorate? The back and forth of views and opinions have made a universally acceptable solution elusive , and the whole topic sadly divisive. Well I have a solution that should be able to sit well with everybody. Why not call January 26th Penny Day? Lady Penelope Mary Rhonda Lorraine Walsh joined our family exactly one year ago today. That year has been full of walks, cuddles, new friends, old friends, social activities, tug of war games, and her favourite activity of ripping up paper. To our delight, Penny is relaxed, calm and welcoming with all people and situations. It has been a pleasure to socialise with her in pretty much any environment. Having her climb into your arms or lap for a kiss and a cuddle is one of life’s great joys. So Happy Penny Day everyone. #pennyonmyshoulder #letsmakelemonade
