Most people who draw, paint or sketch have a favourite subject to two. These are places or things that get repeated attention. Different seasons, weather, styles and levels of artistic skill can be captured in these images. Both the changing moods of the scenes and the artist may be seen. Sellicks Beach an hour south of Adelaide, is a highly significant Kaurna location associated with the creator ancestor Tjilbruke. The name Sellicks appeared in the 1925 subdivision of the section 665 of the Hundred of Willunga. The first name was Sellicks Beach Estate. It became the simpler Sellicks Beach in 1993. #goodviewmood #letsmakelemonade
