We all have favourite places. It is a special joy to share them with others who haven’t been To them before. Ingalalla Falls are just south of Yankalilla. They have been a subject of this blog previously. In the lockdown of 2020, I was isolating at Aldinga, perfectly safe, but on the verge of going mad. Most days I secretly visited Ingalalla Falls for a private picnic. I took a can of beer, a cheese sandwich and Scout, our late dog. This simple act of rebellion kept me sane.. Scout was a challenging dog in some situations , but seemed to grasp the importance of this place. Recent rain around Adelaide have brought the falls back to their best. Last weekend Melissa and I returned to Ingalalla.. It was also a joy to take our beloved Penny for her first visit to one of my favourite places. #alwaysworththevisit #letsmakelemonade
