“Storm over the Pinnacles…”

So I have been fortunate enough to spend the last few weeks exploring the West of Australia. High of the agenda of activities has been sketching and painting, both for Melissa and myself. For obvious reasons, landscapes have dominated as subjects and capturing the bold colours has been key. In Fremantle I visited Jackson Art and found a set of Bryon Bay Art watercolours, called the Colours of the Bush. These have quickly become a favourite. Yellow ochres, Copper reds, Gumtree greens and Azure blues have adorned my paintings, I think for the better. #blendingandmixinginharmony #letsmakelemonade
