So Melissa and I were lucky enough to encounter a stunning pair of Kingfishers whilst exploring the Mangroves near Ningaloo Reef. It was a special highlight of our 2025 WA jaunt. Little wonder that this recent pen release caught my eye. This beauty is collaboration between legendary American pen company Esterbrook and Japanese stationary store Bungubox. The colours of this pen are amazing, touched off by the addition of diamond dust for sparkle. This kingfisher model ticks a lot of my fountain pen boxes. It has elements of Japanese design, has a blue based colour way, a classic cigar shape, a proven quality manufacturer, a large number 6 nib and of course it evokes a special memory. #twointhemangroves #letsmakelemonade
