The History of Blackwing
Regular readers will recall that in the last months of 2019, this blog posted regarding both the history of Blackwing pencils and the Bauhaus School of design. Obviously, these things have not gone unnoticed. Blackwing limited edition pencils are produced each quarter. Each edition celebrates an important individual or event. Past editions include tributes to the first black MBL baseball player Jackie Robinson, female mathematician Ida Lovelace, and the Sunburst Fender Guitar. The second quarter release for 2020 is a tribute to by Blackwing to the Bauhaus School. Coincidence? I think not. #checkalltheeditions #letsmakelemonade
