Piscatorian is an interesting word. It dates late 17th Century where it first appears as a self descriptor in the publications of the travel writer Richard Frank. If you have a piscatorian in your life, this is the perfect ink for them. Hakase is a quirky Japanese pen company. It makes a few fountain pens and a couple of inks. The pens are pretty problematic in 2022, being made from endangered tortoise shell and ivory. Its illegal to import them into most countries. Their most famous ink is legal, but still has issues. It is a sepia ink made from squid ink. The ink is pretty dull and boring, but the real problem is that it has an overpowering smell of fish. #notforeverybody #letsmakelemonade
