Time to come clean

“Never ruin an apology with an excuse…”

Benjamin Franklin

Many of you that know me well, are likely to have experienced my hatred of the Pilot Frixon Pen. Yes they are erasable, but they are a terrible writing experience and people who use them need to be better. If I encounter someone using a Frixon, I will belittle their pen choices. Sometimes internally, but all too often with real words. If this has been you, I am truly sorry. My confession is that since the 10th of January this year, I have been regularly and knowingly using a Frixon pen. It actually started with this seemingly harmless painting. I now use a Frixon for drafting and sketching out the initial drawings of my watercolours. Why? Well it turns out that lines drawn with a Frixon can be removed completely in a few seconds with a hairdryer. No paper damaging erasing is needed, as would be with pencil. You can even remove the Frixon marks after you have completed your painting. Its kind of magic. #trulysorrywillbebetter #letsmakelemonade
