Exactly one year ago today my life got weird. Since then my family have loved and protected me. Friends have stepped up to embrace me. Colleagues as ever have supported and covered for me. Fantastic doctors and nurses have kept me safe and made me well. Over the past 12 months I have done less of some things and more of others. I have returned to old skills and developed a few new ones. There have been opportunities to enjoy the company of old friends and to discover new people to interact with. My life is different, but not worse. #thankful&grateful #letsmakelemonade
