“There is something elemental about the glide and flow of nib and ink on paper…”
James Robertson
This pen is produced by a company founded in Heidelberg in 1889. Over the years it has been sold, taken over, renamed, rebranded and relocated. KAWECO is still a modest fountain pen manufacturer, but well regarded by enthusiasts. This style of pen is called a pocket pen. It is KAWECO’s most successful model. When released in 1935 it was labelled as a sport pen, but that really meant a writing instrument to take on a hunting trip. Pocket pen means the the barrel and section are too small to use without posting the elongated cap. It’s compact and robust design, combined with materials such as brass, anodized aluminum and carbon fibre, have made it a key element of the EDC community. #ofcoursemineisblue #letsmakelemonade
