This is a true grail pen. Many have heard of it, few have seen it, almost no-one has held it, everbody wants it. This rare fountain pen recently exchanged hands in a private sale, conducted in Tokyo. Of course it was all over the pen internet in a few hours. It is a custom #50 size Namiki Emperor. It is a limited edition pen from 2007, designed by the owner of the Shosaikan Pen Shop to celebrate the birth of his first child.The pen is engraved with the motif of the world, starting with the oceans that rise into the mountains. On the cap are further engravings of clouds, and were the finial is located is the star of the heavens. A representation of Angel wings lies between the cap and the body. The pen is constructed from sterling sliver, ebonite, black urushi, ivory resin and 18K gold. It is appropriately called The Myth. #onceinalifetime #letsmakelemonade
