A well travelled pen

“A pen transmits the voice of the soul…”

Fennel Hudson

If you collect fountain pens every new town and it’s antique shops is a potential opportunity for a exciting new find. This pen I found about an hour out of Adelaide in Strathalbyn. It is a Pagliero Condor. Pagliero was founded in 1917, in the Italian province of Settimo Torinese. Produced around 1954, it still writes beautifully. The really amazing thing for me is the story of this pen. What adventures and travels led to this pen leaving the city of Turin and ending up in rural Australia. Who used it, carried it and wrote with it? Fountain pens are personal and all have a history unique to them and their owners. #blueitalianmarvel #letsmakelemonade
