“I’m a choir girl gone horribly, desperately wrong…”

Just last weekend, one of the most important and prestigious annual music competitions was held. No not Eurovision, the Aarhus Vocal Festival. Each year the Danish town of Aarhus hosts one of the largest choir and vocal events. The festival was established in 1999, to celebrate and develop the art of rhythmical a cappella choir music. Ironically, it really took off in terms of participation during the Covid year of 2021, when it was held online. This year singers travelled from all over the world to participate, compete and socialise. In 2026 the winner of the choir competition was the London based group, Camden Voices. Part of the choir was a girl called Ellie, all the way from Adelaide. #prouddadmoment #letsmakelemonade
