My wife is a pearl

“Gravity cannot be responsible for people falling in love…”

Albert Einstein

Today, Melissa and I have reached our tricennial. Celebrating wedding anniversaries seems to have originated in Germany during the early 1500s. If Melissa can put up with me and the Dasatinib keeps working, we might go on to 50 years. At that point, we will receive congratulations from the Governor General, Prime Minister, Leader of the Opposition and our local members, both Federal and State. Get to 60, 65 and 75 years and Buckingham Palace will get involved. If we were married in a Catholic Church, the Pope would contact us at 25, 50 and 60 years. The tradition of matching gifts to the dates of anniversaries was a 1937 concept of the American Jewellers Association. Melissa would be elligible for pearl this year, had she not scored one in Broome several years ago. #welooksoyoung #letsmakelemonade
