So it is only a few days to christmas and I apologise for this late reality check. We are familiar with the concept of naughty and nice lists for Christmas. Most are aware that if you fall off Santa’s list, you don’t get a visit and you miss out on your presents. I have been checking the fine print re the Festive Season. It appears that there are even worse consequences of appearing on the naughty list. This 19th century watercolour is very instructionally graphic. Krampas is the other side of Christmas and dates back to pre-christian European Alpine communities. Krampas can deliver a gift of coal, a whipping with a birch branch or the carting off of children for drowning, eating and transport to hell. #naughtyinaniceway #letsmakelemonade
